For sometime we had been looking for a table to use in our ultrasound room as well as a dental table for very large dogs I was reluctant to spend the money for a stainless steel, hydraulic table. I was delighted to find the Ty-Lift table at the North American Conference. Considering the cost, the size, and ease of use we ordered the table.

On the day the table arrived we also admitted a very large (145 pound) dog for a dental cleaning and elective surgery. The dental procedures were done right on the table next to our dental unit and then the dog was rolled to the surgery suite. The dog only had to be lifted over to the surgery table. It has worked perfectly for our ultrasound procedures as we can all stand up to do the procedure, out of the way of other patients, and in a darker room. We now have a portable anesthetic machine that will attach to the table. Instead of having to roil out the endoscopy unit to a treatment table, we can roll the table and patient to the endoscopy unit.

The table not only provides a portable surface for additional procedures, it facilitates the movement of large and/or anesthetized pets throughout the hospital. The table is easy to lift and easy to clean, and very affordable.
